“Russian and foreign languages” chair was founded in January, 1970. Head of the chair was Saidov F.G. The teachers’ staffs were: senior teachers: F.G. Saidov, V.N. Antonova, G.N.Tixonova, M.J. Berdiyeva and assistant L.F.Bondarenko. The chair was named “Uzbek and Foreign languages” in 1995.From 2006 to 2011 the chair was headed by docent, candidate of philological sciences M.Ravshanov. From 2013 till 2014 the chair was headed by senior teacher Shomurodova Zebiniso Rajabovna.

Nowadays the chair is headed by Ergashev Ilkhom Yuldashevich and teachers’ staff consists of docent, candidate of philological sciences M.Ravshanov, G.Nurmatova, senior teachers R.N.Irgasheva, D.Y.Hakimova, N.Hamidova, N.Ergasheva, Z.Shomurodova assistants U.Bazarova, M.Mirzayeva, ,H.Saydullayeva,S.Allanazarova, G.Yahyoeva, N.Ganiyev. Methodical work

Educational-methodological complexes of the Uzbek, Russian, English, French and German languages and methodological manuals based on innovative educational technologies are developed by the teachers’’ staff. More than 30 scientific works are published for last three years.

Research work

Nowadays the chair conducts the following doctoral and master PH.D. thesis "Semeiological characteristics of nominative units" (M.Ravshanov), "Derived words in Uzbek linguistics: history and current problems (A.Tursunov)", "The concepts of communication in interrogative sentences of the speech (N.Ganiyev)", The club “Luck” is organized at the chair.
